Mixed Media Class with Pipyr

Ambitious Beginner - Intermediate class. You must have experience on an oxy/propane torch to take this class

Two-day sculpting/mixed media workshop (matchboxes):

On the first day, we will be creating eye cane and delicate sculptures to use in our matchboxes. These delicate sculptures are a beast of their own, and a great thing to learn!  On the second day, we will be painting with encaustic (wax painting), and attaching our sculptures and eyes to create a special mixed media piece.  Pipyr will explain the encaustic process from beginning to end, including how to make your own encaustic paint from scratch.   Sure to be an new and exciting learning experience!

Please wear long sleeve cotton shirt as well as jeans or other long pants and closed shoes (tennis shoes are okay) to your class.  If you have long hair, please bring something to tie it back away and out of your face.
