General Terms & Conditions    

Accepted Payment Methods:

I accept secure Paypal, Major Credit Cards through paypal;  U.S. Cashier's checks or money order's, gift certificates (see gift certificate policies) within the USA.   Please request instructions prior to sending payment.  Incorrect information on the cashier's check or money order will cause it to be returned to you for correction and your order may be delayed.  

Repeat customers may send personal checks written off a USA account once approved by Peraza Bead & Jewelry Glass Art Studio, however, a hold will be placed on your order for approx. 10-20 days (depending on your bank) or until funds have been verified as cleared.  Please request approval and instructions prior to sending payment.  Checks made out incorrectly will be returned for correction and your order may be delayed.

If you live in the State of NC, you must provide a copy of your resale certificate to receive wholesale prices, otherwise your purchase is subject to State and Local sales tax.  Taxes should appear on your NC invoice automatically, however, if taxes were not included in your invoice, please notify me so I may send a corrected invoice.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS:   Accepted within 24 hours of your initial order (whether via paypal, email or telephone), regardless of when it is received by me (excluding pdf purchases and other final sale items as outlined elsewhere within this page and/or site).

CUSTOM ORDERS and/or Commissioned Items:  I am always happy to discuss your custom order with you, or re-create an earlier piece as closely as possible (note that no two items utilizing lampwork beads can be duplicated exactly due to the nature of the medium).  Once an agreement as to my understanding of your design, materials, and pricing is reached between us, an invoice will be sent to you with the order description.  Please be aware that a non-existent item can be visualized differently between two people - the finished piece will be the artist's (Marilyn's) interpretation of what you have described, and may vary slightly from what you visualized.  By placing your custom order, you agree to accept the artist's (Marilyn's) interpretation as your own.  Please note that payment for custom orders must be made in full when placing your order.   All custom orders and/or commissioned items are final.  

Shipping:

Shipping within the USA is FREE!

Most orders are shipped within 72 hours of cleared funds, excluding weekends and holidays unless otherwise noted.   Items are shipped by U.S.P.S.    If you wish to have your purchase insured during shipment, please ask for the fee as it is not included in the standard  shipping.   I am not responsible for any uninsured packages once they are in the postal system.  No refund will be offered on items damaged or lost during uninsured shipment.  NO EXCEPTIONS. 

Unless previous arrangements are made, all paypal orders will be shipped to the address (physical or email) which is listed on the paypal account.  Sorry,  but due to recent scams and identity issues - there are no exceptions.

If an insured package is lost in the mail and no delivery confirmation is made by the post office (after 30 days from shipment date) or, your item(s) is damaged (note:  it is your responsibility to notify the postmaster and Peraza Bead & Jewelry Glass Art Studio of  any damages to your item(s) upon receipt of your package, failure to do so may result in no coverage), an application for insurance payment will be made (if applicable) and upon receipt of insurance funds, the order will be refilled or a credit given towards the purchase of alternate item(s) (at my sole discretion) and shipped to you.  However, I will not replace an order, request insurance, or provide a refund once the post office confirms delivery unless reported as damaged as previously stated.  International purchasers accept full responsibility for items once they are in the postal system.

Return Policy:

Peraza Bead & Jewelry Glass Art Studio will provide refunds for authorized returns (S&H charges and any and all auction fees or associated fees associated with your purchase are not included and are not refundable).  Return authorization must be requested within twenty-four (24) hours from receipt of your items, and returns must be received by Peraza Bead & Jewelry Glass Art Studio within five (5) days of authorization (excluding weekends & holidays).  Items must be in original package and unaltered and must be returned to Peraza Bead & Glass Art Studio fully insured.  If your item was damaged during delivery, please refer to "Shipping" above for instructions.   

All PDF's are non-refundable due to the nature of the product. 

All custom orders, commissioned sales, and sale items (glass beads or finished jewelry) are final. 

All items/services given a discount (whether stated on the website or given at the time of purchase) are considered "sale" items and are final.

Please make your choices carefully as charges for shipping and handling will not be refunded.  Return shipping is your responsibility.

INTERNET BUSINESS HOURS:  Our business hours are Monday - Friday from 10:00 a.m through 4:00 p.m.  All orders received after 1:00 p.m. are considered as being received on the following business day (unless otherwise stated herein).  If you are unable to contact us by email, you may contact me at (919) 400-2590 during regular business hours (eastern standard time).

Legal

Please note that most of my items (beads and jewelry designs) are created with glass and small objects.  Although my beads have been properly kiln annealed, it is possible that they can break in certain conditions and become sharp due to the break.  My items are not intended for use by children as they can be a choke hazard.  Your purchase and/or use of these items signifies your understanding of the above dangers, and by purchasing same, you release Marilyn Peraza-Arce, Peraza Bead & Jewelry Glass Art Studio, www.PerazaBeads.com, it's/their heirs and or assigns, from any and all liability, and in doing so, agree to hold Marilyn Peraza-Arce, Peraza Bead & Jewelry Glass Art Studio, www.PerazaBeads.com it's/their heirs and/or assigns, harmless, and to defend Marilyn Peraza-Arce, Peraza Bead & Jewelry Glass Art Studio, www.PerazaBeads.com it's/their heirs and/or assigns, in any lawsuit which may be initiated by any third party with respect to products you purchased for your own use or as a gift or finished product to a third party.
